Our Laser Tattoo Removal Process
The good thing is, because of lasers, tattoos are no longer permanent. We have two lasers to help assist in the tattoo removal process, the Q-Switch and the PicoLazer. By using this safe laser technology, we administer very short pulses of intense light to the tattoo, breaking down the pigment into smaller ink particles.
The small ink particles are then able to be swept away through the body’s immune cells, and the tattoo begins to fade. Multiple laser tattoo removal sessions are required to break up the particles into a small enough size to visually fade a tattoo.
The process doesn’t destroy any of the surrounding skin tissue so your tattoo is dissolved over time without harm to your body or skin. Our tattoo removal lasers are safe for all skin types and colors.
How Long Does Full Removal Take?
For full removal, most tattoos need multiple treatment sessions. The number of sessions depends on many factors, such as the size of the tattoo and even your body’s immunity. Typically, the average required treatments to reach full removal range between 6-14 sessions.
All tattoos are unique, therefore all tattoo removal work is also unique to the person and the tattoo.

Is tattoo removal painful?
Different degrees of discomfort exist. We help aid in discomfort with the use of numbing cream and icing the treated area.
How long does it take to get a tattoo removed?
The average length of time per tattoo removal appointment depends on the size of the tattoo. Color, age, size, and depth of the tattoo are all different factors as to how many sessions you’ll need to achieve full removal. What negative side effects are there?
You may notice some redness, swelling, frosting of the skin, itching. When treated carefully and with protection from the environment, these adverse effects do go away.
How should I maintain the removal site?
We recommend the use of Aquaphor or over-the-counter antibiotic ointment to help create a barrier on the treated skin to help with healing. Avoid picking at any scabs, crusts, or blisters. Use sunscreen on top of the ointment to protect the region where your tattoo was removed. Gently massage the tattoo after the skin has healed to assist your body in the removal process.
