Erbium Laser Skin Resurfacing

Laser skin resurfacing is a procedure that uses advanced laser technology to remove the outer layers of skin. This procedure is commonly referred to as a laser peel, lasabrasion, or laser vaporization. This treatment works by using short and concentrated pulsating beams of light that interact with the water within your skin, to vaporize the outer layers of the epidermis while heating the underlying layers of the dermis. This jump-starts the body’s natural healing processes to increase the production of collagen and elastin, as well as triggering the production of new and healthy skin cells. Laser skin resurfacing helps smooth the texture of the skin, reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, scarring, and helps with the creation of volume through collagen. A combination or sequence of laser treatments may be suggested in order to deliver the desired results, over the course of several visits. During the consultation, our providers will create a treatment plan that is formulated to your skin and your specific concerns.
